Information handled
MarketPilot may process account email, authentication records, locally stored simulator activity, subscription status, and information returned by a broker connection that you initiate. Broker credentials and session material are sensitive information.
How information is used
- Provide account access and requested portfolio features.
- Synchronize user state and subscription entitlements.
- Connect to supported brokers when explicitly configured by the user.
- Maintain security, diagnose failures and prevent abuse.
Broker connections
Your broker remains the custodian of funds and securities. MarketPilot does not need your broker password or OTP. API credentials and session material submitted for a supported connection are encrypted at rest and are not displayed back to the browser.
Local device information
Paper portfolios, interface preferences and some working state may be kept in browser storage. Clearing browser data can remove information that has not been synchronized to an account.
Retention and deletion
Before a public launch, the operator must publish verified retention periods and a working account-deletion contact or automated deletion process. Do not publish this application until those operational details are supplied.
Third parties
Market data, broker connections, email delivery, hosting and payment processing may involve external providers. Their own terms and privacy practices also apply.
Contact
The business owner must add its legal name, postal address, privacy contact and grievance contact before public launch.
